All the essential news to get informed on the start line
of the GRAN FONDO DEL CONERO CINELLI AGONISTICS; to read
it not at a run 'but without a hurry'
THE ORGANIZING COMMITTEE OF THE GRAN FONDO DEL CONERO CINELLI
ASD organizes on Sunday, 14th March 2010 the GRAN FONDO
DEL CONERO CINELLI, a long-distance and cycle-touring race
opened to all those who turned 15 (fifteen) years old of
both sexes, regularly subscribed to the FCI, UISP, UDACE
and to all other institutions, being in order with the membership
2010 and to foreigners regularly subscribed to the corresponding
Federations or Associations of their own nation. From the
age of 15 (fifteen) until 18 (eighteen) and over 70 (seventy)
and to cycle-touring athletes the participation is allowed
only for the medium long-distance routes (90km) and BICI
& CALICI (“Cycles & Goblets”) (50km).
For those who have no cycling card, with an overprice of
€ 5, on the admission fee, it will be issued a card
with daily validity (as per FCI procedure)
Subscriptions will open from 1st January 2010.

With the registration form, the competitor declares to
be in possession of the doctor’s certificate, according
to the M.D. of 18/02/82, in possession of valid card, insurance
against third party and to have read this Regulation. The
participant also gives consent for the use of his own data,
according to the Privacy Law 675 of 31/12/1996. The same
applies to those who submit the form online, by letter,
fax or (to be advised).
Registration to the GRAN FONDO DEL CONERO CINELLI will close
when reaching the 2000 participants and must be enrolled
within 13th March 2010. (Registrations in the morning
of 14th March 2010 will not be accepted).
Registration fee for the paths of Km 90 and Km 135:
up to 31st January 2010 is € 21 , from 1st February
2010 up to 7th March 2010 is € 26 while from 8th March
2010 up to 13th March 2010 is of € 35.
The disabled do not pay the subscription fee.
DISCOUNTS ACCUMULATED TO OTHER DISCOUNTS:
All participants to the GRAN FONDO ITALIA SITTAM 2009 of
Carpi who enroll by 28th February 2010 will get a discount
of € 1.
DISCOUNTS NOT ACCUMULATED TO OTHER DISCOUNTS:
Society discounts: from 10-15 members will have a discount
of € 1 per participant
from 16-20 members will have a discount of € 1.50 per
participant
from 21-25 members will have a discount of € 2 per
participant
from 26 and up members will have a discount of € 3
per participant
Bici Club members a discount of € 2 (not to be accumulated
discount)
Registrations
will be accepted only if complete with the required data
(name, surname, date of birth, address, card number, company
code, institution, belonging organization) and accompanied
by the payment of participation fees.

From 12th March 2010, starting from 4pm, the GRAN FONDO
DEL CONERO CINELLI Administrative Office will be held at
CONERO VILLAGE c/o Piazza Cavour in Ancona for the latest
subscriptions. On Saturday 13th March from 9am to 7pm and
on Sunday 14th March from 7am to 5pm.
The withdrawal of registration envelopes: from Saturday
13th March 2010 at the CONERO VILLAGE from 9,30am to 7pm.
THE RACE PACKS WILL BE DELIVERED AT THE ARRIVAL AT THE
CHIPs DELIVERY.
The official departure will be given at 9 am in Corso Garibaldi
in Ancona, in all weather conditions.
We will set up three departure grids:
first grid will depart hosts, women, the disabled, the first
100 athletes ranked at the GRAN FONDO DEL CONERO 2009 in
the 130Km course, the first 30 athletes ranked at GRAN FONDO
DEL CONERO 2009 in the 90Km course, the subscribers of CIRCUITO
DEGLI ITALICI 2010, the 20 of the GIRO D’ITALIA UISP
2009, the first 20 of the ITALIAN CHAMPIONSHIP OF FCI 2009
GREAT LONG-DISTANCE and LONG-DISTANCE and the first 20 of
the UDACE GREAT LONG-DISTANCE and LONG-DISTANCE 2009, the
Master Gold and likewise (first 100 athletes of the ranking),
the subscribers of CIRCUITO INTERFORZE, the subscribers
of CIRCUITO MARCHE IN BICI
The second grid instead will be strictly reserved to the
first three hundreds subscribed, not included for merit
in the first grid. In the third grid will be all the others,
not included in the first two grids.
The grids will be opened at 8,15 am. Once inside the grid
you won’t be allowed to get out before departure, if
not returning temporarily the bib or getting out without
bicycle at the risk of disqualification.
Timing controls: they are strictly mandatory both
at departure and along the way; the missing of even one
control passage will result in exclusion from the rankings.
The timing is of the TDS.
The arrival is for everyone in Corso Garibaldi.
There isn’t a time limit itself, but for all the arrival
should be within 4pm for both routes (135km -90km).
Crash-helmet is mandatory, failure to comply will result
in disqualification from competition.

In the long path (90Km) we will reward:

We will reward the farthest and oldest athlete.
Any other awards will be announced by the Organization prior
to departure.
Individual and companies prizes must be collected by
the athlete during the award ceremony and in any case no
later than one hour from it otherwise they will be retained
by the Organization.
Intersections will be controlled by the organization and
a medical health service will be guaranteed through four
itinerant ambulances along the route and one stationary
ambulance at the finishing line.
A SAG-wagon service will start working for both routes and
for the longer route an additional one will be available
at about three hours from the first ones: after which some
other minor crossings will not be covered by such service;
both provided by the organization.
Free and itinerant mechanical assistance will be active
too (excluding spare parts), made available by CICLI COPPARO
Via Gigli, 3-Ancona.
There will be stationary and movable emergency radio points
linked with other assistances organized by the Sporting
Group of Capodarco.
A showers service will be available at the Dorico Stadium
in Viale della Vittoria, in Ancona and Palasport Palaveneto
in Via Vittorio Veneto. Society vehicles will be allowed,
with at least five competitors entered, with appropriate
identification issued by the Organization.
The award ceremony and the Pasta Party (also opened to escorts,
€
5) will be
at the Conero Village in Piazza Cavour – Ancona starting
from 12,30am.
In the longer route there will be two GRAN PREMI DELLA MONTAGNA:
in Filottrano and in Recanati (previously mentioned).
The road signs will be colored as follows: the long
route (Km135) will show indications placed in red color,
the short one (90 km) in blue color. In case of colors’
alternation, both routes will pass in that path. Directions
to find the meeting-place, the showers, the race pack collection,
the administrative office, etc ... are marked in yellow
color.
Rules: for what not provided in this regulation applies
the regulation and general rules issued by the Amateur Structure
of FCI and UISP. The ORGANIZING COMMITTEE of the GRAN FONDO
DEL CONERO CINELLI ASD and the ASD CICLISTICA CROCETTE disclaim
all responsibility for itself and its partners, for any
accident or damages to persons or property which may occur
before, during and after the event or due to it.
We reserve the right to disqualify the athletes who will
have a misconduct before, during and after the event.
All competitors are imperatively required to observe the
rules laid down by the Highway Code because the path is
open to traffic.
IMPORTANT NOTE: we wish to point out that the event
is not a competitive race, despite the arrival order and
the ranking, the GRAN FONDO DEL CONERO CINELLI AGONISTICS
is and remains a cycle-touring meeting where everyone can
proceed with its own pace admiring the beautiful landscape
the route provides.

For a greater success of the event this regulation may be
amended by the Organization at any time, with the obligation
of making it known in the most appropriate and effective
way possible (press release, website, leaflets, loudspeaker,
etc. …)
